  • Built server from scratch.
  • Installed type one hypervisor.
  • Integrated home network using multiple Ubiquiti Edge routers and switches.
  • Running numerous VMs and various projects on the server.

I built my Proxmox virtual environment home lab from scratch, starting with the assembly of individual components, including the CPU, motherboard, RAM, GPU, and more. This hands-on approach allowed me to develop a deep understanding of hardware assembly and troubleshooting. After completing the physical build, I installed and configured the Proxmox VE type one hypervisor as the server's operating system. To optimize integration and performance, I set up my home network using multiple Ubiquiti Edge routers and switches, ensuring a smart, efficient, and effective network configuration. In this environment, I run various virtual machines (VMs) continuously. These range from Linux VMs to a Windows Active Directory environment with DNS and DHCP services. Additionally, I explore cybersecurity projects, such as a SOC analyst home lab. This dynamic setup allows me to experiment with new technologies, refine my networking skills, and manage complex virtualized systems.
